Florida woman accused of organizing theft ring that stole $15K in items from businesses

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida woman is facing several charges after police said she organized a string of retail thefts around the state.

Attorney General Ashley Moody said Lourdes Rodriguez and others stole from Walgreens, CVS, Ulta Beauty and liquor stores.

Some of the locations were reportedly in Seminole County.

Investigators said the thefts resulted in the loss of at least $15,000.

Her arrest is the third, connected to a larger organized retail theft group that caused more than $100,000 in losses across the state.
