Fort Myers man rode out Hurricane Ian on boat

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Sanibel Island has opened back up for residents to get in their homes and survey the damage.


While many of them are just now getting a look at what’s left, we’re continuing to hear more stories of how others survived the storm.
