APOPKA, Fla. — A construction crew hit a gas line Friday morning forcing the closure of an Apopka road for a couple of hours.
According to police, the crew hit a 3 inch gas line.
The leak was at the intersection of Sheeler Avenue and Cobblefield Circle, just off of State Road 414.
Police said Apopka Natural Gas responded to help repair the leak.
The leak was repaired and the road reopened shortly after noon.
