ORLANDO, Fla. — There is some good news this morning for Florida drivers heading out on the road for the Memorial Day weekend.

Gas prices are down slightly.

That’s the opposite of a national trend that saw prices go up about 4 cents a gallon this week.
In Florida, the price of gas is down one penny from Thursday to $3.37 a gallon.

That is one dollar and twenty cents lower than this time last year.
