Grab your umbrella: Storms to move in this afternoon, evening

ORLANDO, Fla. — If you are headed out and about Sunday, pack an umbrella.

We will see partly cloudy skies for much of Central Florida in the morning with a chance of thunderstorms developing in the afternoon.

Look for highs to reach the mid-90s with a heat index of 105 degrees.

On Monday, there will be a 60% chance of showers in the morning with the potential for thunderstorms developing in the afternoon.

For the rest of the week, the chance for rain is about 50% with another round of afternoon storms.

Currently, there are no named storms. But forecasters are watching two tropical waves with a good chance of a system developing in the Central Atlantic late next week.
