Habitat for Humanity breaks ground on two new affordable homes in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County broke ground Thursday on two new affordable homes in Orlando’s historic Parramore community.

The nonprofit said the homes will provide long-term stability for local families through homeownership.

Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County CEO Catherine McManus said having a permanent home gives families both housing and financial stability.

The organization built 10 homes in the Parramore community last year.
