ORLANDO, Fla. — Tonight, hundreds of horror fans will line up at Universal Orlando for the opening night of the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights.
Universal Orlando will celebrate with ten horror houses, four scare zones and plenty of scares throughout the event.
This year’s event marks 35 years of screams, with previews taking place throughout the week leading up to tonight’s public opening.
The anniversary house will feature two horror icons: Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow.
“That coming together of these two icons, not as friends, but as convenience, is bringing the infernal carnival of nightmares to life,” said Lora Sauls, Universal Orlando’s assistant director of creative development. “And if you take the first letter of each one of those words, it spells icons. And they are including different icons from our history, different icons from our past.”
For music fans, one of the houses will focus on Ozzy Osbourne.
“The gothic tones and textures are just incredible. Hearing his solo career, music throughout the house is so incredible. Working with the Osborn family was just incredible,” Sauls said.
Other house themes include Stranger Things, Sinners, Hellraiser, and Evil Dead Burn.
The event will also have five original haunted houses:
- INVASION: Alien Abduction
- H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!
- MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals
- Cybergoria
Halloween Horror Nights begins Friday night and will run on select nights through Nov. 1.
