Happening Wednesday: SpaceX prepares to launch Starlink satellites

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX is preparing to launch its next batch of Starlink satellites on the Space Coast.

The launch window opens at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.

A Falcon 9 rocket will carry 48 Starlink satellites into orbit.

The goal of Starlink is to create a network that will help provide internet services to those who are not yet connected, and to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe, the company said.
