MARION COUNTY, Fla. — A helicopter crash in Marion County is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
It happened Wednesday night near the 3200 block of NE 95th Street in Anthony, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.
Shortly after 11 p.m., deputies and firefighters responded to an empty pasture where they learned the aircraft went down.
An FAA spokesperson told Channel 9 that two people were on board the Robinson R44 helicopter when it crashed in the field.
Officials said no injuries resulted from the incident and the crash remains under investigation.
