ORLANDO — As reported by our sister station WSB-TV, A line of multi-purpose helmets exclusively sold on Amazon have been recalled due to safety concerns.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission says the helmets don’t comply with the positional stability, impact, labeling, and certification requirements of the mandatory federal safety regulation for bicycle helmets.
The helmets can fail to protect the wearer during a crash and could increase the risk of a head injury.

The helmets were sold between May 2024 and August 2024 for about $23 at Amazon.com.
They have “NQDTPBOR” printed on the side, and they are sold in sizes small and medium, as well as in blue, pink, purple, green, and black varieties with black padding, black straps, and a black and red buckle.

If you have these helmets, stop using them immediately and contact TPBOR for a full refund.
To receive a refund, you should destroy the helmet by cutting the straps, then take a photo and send it to the recalling firm by email at nqdtpbor@outlook.com.

After submitting proof of destruction, you should throw it away.
Both TPBOR and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers of the helmets.
