Orlando Health has submitted plans tied to a future 144-bed behavioral health hospital it is working on with a Franklin, Tennessee-based company.
The nonprofit health system — with $8.1 billion in assets and $5.2 billion in 2022 revenue — submitted a major development plan for the hospital it plans to build with Acadia Healthcare (Nasdaq: ACHC) at 1452 S. Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka.
The two-story, 100,000-square-foot hospital will replace Orlando Health’s 80-bed Longwood behavioral health facility as it works to reimagine the Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital campus.
