Hispanic Federation delivers smiles to children right before Christmas

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Hispanic Federation held its annual Delivering Smiles — or Repartiendo Sonrisas — event, which benefits families in need during the holidays.

This year, the HF staff members selected four low-income neighborhoods in the Central Florida area to give back to.

During the event, the teams delivered smiles in the form of toys and games to 300 children at community centers and local organizations.

These included the Christ the King Episcopal Church in Azalea Park, Orlando; Cobblestone Apartments; Marydia Community Center; and Justice Shall be for All in Kissimmee.

The organization said it hopes to continue this tradition for years to come.
