Demolition of the shuttered Christian theme park near the Mall at Millenia began April 26 as the Altamonte Springs-based health care system plans a new one-story, 24-bed, 19,600-square-foot, freestanding emergency department on part of the land.

AdventHealth expects the work to be completed by the end of June or early July.
