ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle shared a review of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind after getting an early test ride on the upcoming roller coaster.

“It is AWESEOME!!!” Vahle wrote in an Instagram post. “Thank you to the teams at Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney World who are bringing this amazing attraction to life. I’m looking forward to seeing the finishing touches over the next several months and can’t wait for you to get a look when it opens at EPCOT next summer as part of the park’s transformation!”

On Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, guests will visit an “otherworld showcase pavilion” of Xandar, one of the main worlds seen in the “Guardians” movies before taking off on a high-speed, indoor roller coaster adventure that will feature the first reverse launch on a coaster in Disney’s history.

Along the way, guests can expect to see some of their favorite characters, humor and of course hear some of the iconic music from “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Disney recently announced that the new roller coaster will officially open sometime next summer.
