Janai Norman

Janai Norman joined Eyewitness News in November 2014.

Janai comes to Channel 9 from our Cox Media Group sister station, FOX23 News, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma, Janai was a part of the team reporting on the ground after an EF-5 tornado tore through Moore, Oklahoma, in May 2013, an effort that won FOX23 a national Edward R. Murrow Award.

Before moving to Green Country, Janai worked as a general assignment reporter at ABC17 News in Columbia, Missouri. She’s a proud Mizzou grad, originally from northern Illinois, excited to call central Florida home.

You can often find Janai wandering the city with her puppy son, Jax, looking for a good story to tell.
