Labor Day weekend forecast: Isolated afternoon showers

ORLANDO, Fla. — Isolated evening storms will primarily impact a few neighborhoods west of Orlando Saturday evening, with many areas near the beaches staying dry.

Meteorologist George Waldenberger said Sunday and Labor Day will have a similar weather pattern to Saturday.

He said we should expect quiet mornings and spotty afternoon rain periods, with the highest chance for rain in the late afternoon and evening.

This will be mainly in areas west of Orlando.

More widespread evening storms are expected to return later next week.
