Lake County man claims winning $1 million scratch-off ticket

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake County man claimed a $1 million prize in Florida Lottery’s  $5,000,000 CASHWORD scratch-off game.

Liem Le, of Clermont, purchased the winning ticket from Circle K, located at 16431 State Road 50 in Clermont.

On Wednesday, Le received a one-time, lump-sum payment of $780,000.00 at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office.

The Florida Lottery has contributed more than $43 billion to education in Florida and has helped more than 950,000 students through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
