Lake County woman cashes in after winning $1M from a Florida Lottery scratch-off game

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake County woman is a millionaire after winning a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH scratch-off game from the Florida Lottery.

Cynthia Jackubowski claimed the $1 million prize after purchasing her winning ticket from the Quick Stop, located at 1200 West Main Street in Leesburg.

The 56-year-old Groveland woman chose to receive her winning as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.

The store that sold the winning ticket will receive a $2,000 bonus commission.

The $50 game, 500X THE CASH, features a top prize of $25 million – the largest ever offered on a Florida scratch-off game

Scratch-off games have made up 77% of tickets sale in the 2021-2022 fiscal years.
