KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Kissimmee city commissioners are set to decide Tuesday whether to begin impeachment proceedings against Mayor Jackie Espinosa.
A special prosecutor’s investigation alleged Espinosa failed to disclose conflicts of interest regarding COVID-era grant money awarded to businesses linked to her family.
While Espinosa denies wrongdoing, the commission will review the findings during a special meeting before deciding whether to advance formal articles of impeachment.
