Lake County to offer free rapid COVID-19 testing

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Lake County will offer free rapid COVID-19 testing beginning Thursday.

Officials said the test will be available at Lake Square Mall, located at 10401-015 U.S. Highway 441 South in Leesburg, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Dec. 8.

The site will be closed on Sundays and Thanksgiving Day.

No symptoms are required and no appointment is necessary.

The test results are usually available within 15 to 30 minutes.
