‘People were screaming, went into hysteria’: Leesburg woman shares sister’s story inside Colorado mass shooting

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — People were doing their grocery shopping in a Boulder King Soopers store Monday when someone opened fire.

The sister of a Leesburg woman was in the store when it happened.

Channel 9 sat down one-on-one with Stacy Khan to talk about what her sister saw and heard.

“She was just grabbing a couple items,” Khan said. “And she heard a sound … and then she heard the gun sound again. And then people were screaming, went into hysteria.”

Khan’s sister made it out of the store safely. At least 10 people were killed including an officer.
