TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A woman and a man died after a shooting in a Titusville neighborhood.

The shooting happened at a home on Lakeview Hills Avenue around 7 a.m. Thursday.
Titusville police said a 911 call from a neighbor led investigators to a woman’s body.
Investigators also found a man with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Police said they are not looking for a suspect. They believe the man and woman found outside the home are the only people involved in the shooting.
“It’s a sad thing but things happen, you know. You just have to be careful. You never know what’s going on beside you. I just hate that it happened,” said Theresa Latham.

Police said they plan to be at the home throughout the day.
