Lightning strike sparks house fire in Palm Coast

PALM COAST, Fla. — Investigators said a lightning strike caused a Palm Coast home to catch fire on Wednesday night.


The homeowners said that during a thunderstorm, they began to smell and see smoke in their home after a bolt of lightning struck their home.

Crews said flames were coming out from the attic.

Crews were able to put out the fire. Then, they worked together to clean up the area.
