ORLANDO, Fla. — Animal shelters in the Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne area are joining the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters initiative, offering pet adoptions for $70 or less.
The adoption drive is all about finding loving homes for shelter pets and creating space in the kennels for other animals in need. Every cat and dog available has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped to ensure they are healthy and ready for their forever families.
Across the country, 269 animal welfare organizations across 36 states are coming together in an exciting campaign to make a positive difference for animals.
Since the program launched in 2016, Empty the Shelters has helped more than 431,000 pets find homes across the United States and Canada.
The Empty the Shelters event runs at participating local shelters through Sept. 30.
