Man, 21, arrested in shooting death of Orlando teenager

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police arrested the man they said shot and killed a 16-year-old boy at an apartment complex last week.

Lafrederick Gandy, 21, is accused of shooting Carldarius Patrick at the Ivey on the Lakes apartments on South Ivey Drive.

Police said the teenager was shot in the head.

Patrick would have celebrated his 17^th birthday this week.

It’s still not clear what led to the shooting.
