AdventHealth unveils new high-tech ambulance fleet in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — A new fleet of high-tech ambulances is helping to save lives in Marion County.

On Monday, AdventHealth Ocala unveiled three mobile ICU transport ambulances, officially launching the hospital system’s fleet.

These new ambulances will bring the emergency room to the field to provide care throughout greater Marion County.

The mobile critical care units are equipped with state-of-the-art technology onboard, allowing crews to provide ICU-level care, including ventilation and lab capabilities while transporting patients between AdventHealth facilities.

“We have great partners at Marion County Fire Rescue and Ocala Fire Rescue and bringing this fleet to AdventHealth Ocala allows us to help alleviate some of their burden of transporting patients from facility to facility so that they can focus on incoming community calls as we all work together to serve those who need us most,” said Jeffrey Bogue, director of emergency transport at AdventHealth.
