MARION COUNTY, Fla. — A man died after being stabbed early Saturday morning at a residence on West Highway 318 in Reddick.
Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the home at approximately 3:15 a.m. following a report of a stabbing. Officers located the victim suffering from a stab wound and rendered medical aid, but he died at the scene.
A female suspect was still at the location when deputies arrived and was taken into custody for questioning.
Detectives from the sheriff’s Major Crimes unit responded to the home to investigate the incident as a homicide. Channel 9 will keep providing updates as they become available.
