Mask Up! Central Floridians show a sense of style, personality in mask choices

ORLANDO, Fla. — With multiple businesses and local governments requiring facemasks during the COVID-19 pandemic, we asked Central Floridians to share a ‘mask selfie’ with us so we could highlight their creativity, personality and style with the rest of Central Florida.

Dozens of people have submitted photos, including our own staff.

Several people told us they either learned how to sew, or improved their sewing skills to make masks for loved ones. Hilda, from Tampa, told us she borrowed her mother’s sewing machine to make masks for her family.

Others have gone with a theme, choosing to match their masks with their clothes.
