FOUND SAFE: Daytona Beach police say they’re in contact with ex-Nickelodeon star Drake Bell

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Update:

The Daytona Beach Police Department said Thursday afternoon that Drake Bell has been found safe.

“At this time, we can confirm law enforcement officials are in contact, and Mr. Bell is safe,” the agency said in an update to its previous Facebook post, announcing that he was missing and endangered.

Channel 9 has a crew trying to gather more details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Daytona Beach Police Department said Thursday morning that it is searching for former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell.

The agency said in a Facebook post that it is searching for 36-year-old Jared Bell, who starred in “Drake & Josh” from 2004 to 2007.

Bell’s full name is Jared Drake Bell, but he goes by Drake Bell professionally.

Police believe he is traveling in a 2022 grey BMW and was last seen shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday near Mainland High School.

They said he is considered missing and endangered.
