Florida Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist, a 27-year-old man from DeBary, was driving east on Lee Road when witnesses said he attempted to pass stopped traffic by driving in the left turn lane. Troopers said as he attempted to drive back into the through lanes, he lost control of the motorcycle, hit a curb and drove into the Denny’s parking lot.

Troopers said the motorcycle hit the side of the building and the driver was ejected and went through the restaurant’s window.
