Motorcycle toy run collects gifts for the holidays

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Thousands of motorcyclists rode in a holiday toy drive in Brevard County Sunday.

The 32nd annual ABATE of Florida Toy Run went from the Merritt Square Mall parking lot to the Melbourne campus of eastern Florida State College.

Riders were escorted by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office motor unit.

All donated toys will be given to local charities for children in the area.

Organizers said they collected enough toys to fill three U-Haul trucks.
