Motorcyclist dies in Orlando crash; Conway Road back open

ORLANDO, Fla. — One person died following a traffic crash Wednesday morning, Orlando police said.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Conway Road around 7 a.m. for a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

Investigators confirmed the motorcyclist died at the scene.

Police said the crash was impacting traffic, as officers closed all northbound lanes of Conway Road in the area of Michigan Street.

OPD also advised, shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday, that southbound Conway Road was restricted to a single lane of traffic.

At 10 a.m., OPD posted on Twitter roads were back open and added that the driver in the vehicle was not injured during the crash.

Orlando police did not share additional details of the crash, nor have they released the names of those who were involved.
