ORLANDO, Fla. — Works by nearly 50 Florida artists will be featured in a new exhibition opening next month in downtown Orlando.

Jessy Jones Collections will present Collection Retrospective from 5 to 10 p.m. Nov. 19 at 103 E. Pine St. The opening is part of downtown Orlando’s monthly Third Thursday arts event.

The exhibition features pieces from curator Alexandria Trevor’s personal collection. Organizers said the works were acquired at several price points to show that people can begin collecting original art with a single purchase and build a collection over time.

The collection includes abstract and figurative pieces in a variety of mediums. Many of the participating artists are expected to attend the opening to discuss their work, creative processes and available commissions.

Featured artists include Selfismo, Jonathan Tyson, Michael Lusk and Bob Smedley. The four artists will display and sell additional work at tables outside the gallery.

Trevor will be available to introduce visitors to artists and provide information about purchasing existing pieces or commissioning new work. Prices and completion times for commissions vary by artist and project.

Private tours will be available by request during the week before and the week after the opening.

Jessy Jones Collections is located near CityArts and Eola View. The gallery changes its selections quarterly and plans to host additional exhibitions featuring Central Florida artists.
