No meaningful leads in case of missing Belle Isle mother of 3, police say

BELLE ISLE, Fla. — A week after a Belle Isle mother of three was last seen, police said they have received no meaningful leads to help locate her.

Police said Stephanie Chitwood Hollingsworth, 50, was last seen at noon last Friday at her Monet Avenue home near Hoffner Avenue and South Conway Road.

Investigators said family and friends have established a “family command post” at the Walmart on Goldenrod Road and are coordinating additional volunteer searches.

Police said Crimeline has offered a $5,000 reward for information on her whereabouts.

Investigators said Hollingsworth suffers from psychological conditions and requires care.

She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs about 115 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Hollingsworth was last seen wearing a black shirt and gray or black pants.

Police said she took her purse with her but left her cellphone at home.

She is believed to be traveling in a 2000 Silver Chevrolet Tahoe bearing Florida tag Y50 XUR.

Investigators said her last known debit card transaction happened shortly before 2 p.m. last Friday at the Bank of America at Hoffner Avenue and South Goldenrod Road.

Anyone who sees her is asked to notify Belle Isle police by calling the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 407-836-4357 or 911.
