Orlando’s bowl matchups set; where to find tickets

ORLANDO, Fla. — Sunday was a revealing day for college football programs and fans alike, as the CFP Selection Committee painted the picture of how the rest of the season’s matchups will look.

Not only did the committee solidify the top four teams — Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State — for the College Football Playoff semifinals, the 2022-23 bowl matchups took shape as well.

The 43 games will mean more than three weeks of bowl watching, beginning on Dec. 16 and concluding with the Jan. 9 championship at SoFi Stadium outside of Los Angeles.

Back here in Orlando, football fans eager to find out who’d end up in the two local showdowns at Camping World Stadium can now decide if they’ll try to scoop up tickets.

The first — the Cheez-It Bowl — will pit the Florida State Seminoles against the Oklahoma Sooners on Thursday, Dec. 29.

Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

On Jan. 2, at the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, the LSU Tigers will take on the Purdue Boilermakers. Kickoff happens at 1 p.m. at Camping World Stadium.
