The property is part of a larger 118.62-acre piece of land near South Poinciana Boulevard in Kissimmee. The school district will build a transportation facility on the site called Transportation West.

It will be a mirror to a $16.15 million project proposed at 5702 Nova Road in St. Cloud called Transportation East. Construction on that project is expected to begin next February, and work on Transportation West likely will start six months after that, Arby Creach, director of transportation services for the district, told the Orlando Business Journal.

Both projects should be completed in roughly two years.
