Woman, infant killed in two-vehicle crash in Osceola County, troopers say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash in Osceola County.

Troopers said the crash occurred on State Road 60 near Peavine Road. It was later revealed the victims were a 22-year-old woman from Miami and 4-month-old girl from Miami

The crash involved two vehicles. One vehicle heading eastbound on State Road 60 west of Peavine Road entered the westbound lanes to pass another vehicle when it struck a vehicle heading westbound head-on, causing it to go off the road and overturn, FHP said.

The woman and baby were pronounced dead at the scene.
