Wild Florida to debunk alligator myths during Gator Week

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Wild Florida is working to debunk common myths about the American alligator with its upcoming Gator Week.

Gator Week will run from May 23 to 28 and serve to educate visitors on one of Florida’s most recognizable but misunderstood animals.

The week will feature daily gator-themed activities and demonstrations. Click here to see the full schedule.

Officials said everyone who makes a small cash donation will get free admission to Gator Park during Gator Week. Bills donated will go towards the park’s Wild Florida scholarship to help graduating seniors pay for college.
