OVIEDO, Fla. — Oviedo city leaders will meet on Monday to discuss how a proposed property tax cut could impact the city’s budget.
Earlier projections showed the city could lose more than $5 million in tax revenue during the first year if Amendment 3 is approved by Florida voters.
The proposal could save the average homeowner about $3,000 a year.
The Oviedo City Council will discuss the potential financial impact during a work session Monday night.
