Paul McCartney returns to Orlando: A guide to parking and road closures

ORLANDO, Fla. — Traffic jams, road closures and full parking lots are expected downtown Saturday as Paul McCartney makes his grand return to The City Beautiful.

Here is your official guide to maneuvering downtown Orlando as the former Beatles star takes the stage at Camping World Stadium beginning at 8 p.m. as part of his Get Back Tour.

  • Camping World Stadium’s on-site parking is sold out for the concert. Attendees are asked to purchase parking in downtown Orlando and take the free shuttle to and from the event.
  • Those who purchased pre-paid parking permits should download them in advance to their phone and have it ready to display when they pull into the parking lots, ensuring a speedier and seamless entry. The stadium parking lots open at 4 p.m.

  • The RV parking lots open at 8 a.m.
  • Road closures downtown begin at 9:30 a.m. and all last through 90 minutes after the event. The closures are:
    • Church Street between Tampa and Rio Grande avenues begin at 9 a.m. and last until 90 minutes after the event.
    • Church Street between Rio Grande Avenue and Orange Blossom Trail closes at 3:30 p.m.
    • Rio Grande Avenue between Church Street and Anderson Street closes at 3:30 p.m.
    • South Street between Norton Avenue and Rio Grande Avenue closes at 3:30 p.m.
    • Long Street between Rio Grande Avenue and Tampa Avenue closes at 3:30 p.m.
    • Nashville Avenue between Coyler Street and Anderson Street closes at 3:30 p.m.

  • Downtown Orlando’s free shuttle service begins at 1:30 p.m. and ends an hour after the event. The shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations are Boone Avenue and Anderson Street and Nashville Avenue and Church Street.
  • To get to the shuttle sites from I-4 heading east, take the South Street exit and the Anderson Street exit heading west on I-4.
  • Rideshare pickup and drop-off locations have been established at Lot 9 at 801 S. Rio Grande Avenue and South Dollins Avenue between West Church Street and West Pine Street.

  • The box office opens at 4 p.m. and is located near Gate A at Church Street and Rio Grande Avenue.
  • The stadium parking lots open at 4 p.m.
  • The stadium gates open at 6 p.m.
