Pedestrian killed after being struck by at least two vehicles in Volusia County, troopers say

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a pedestrian was killed after being hit by at least two vehicles in Volusia County.

The deadly crash happened around 11:45 p.m. on Friday near the intersection of County Road 15A and Oak Lane.

According to troopers, a pickup truck was traveling northbound on County Road 15A when the driver struck a pedestrian who was sitting in the roadway.

Troopers said the pedestrian was previously hit by a different vehicle.

The victim, a 41-year-old Miami man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information has been released regarding this deadly crash.
