Pet Alliance is launching a new “PAWdcast” that fosters conversation about topics such as animal welfare, sheltering and much more.

The first episode will educate listeners on the Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) programs, which work to decrease the number of homeless kittens being born, and how the organization helps cats and their communities.

During Cat Month, Pet Alliance will feature a “Cat of the Week,” which will be up for adoption.

Cat lovers will enjoy fun and educational content and tips all month long on various topics, such as kitten season, finding a kitten in the wild, fostering, adopting a cat, cat medical education and community cats.

“We are very excited to give extra attention to our beloved cats and kittens this April,” said Pet Alliance executive director Steve Bardy. “The cat loving community is as loyal as any other. After suffering such a devastating loss last year of losing 17 members of our feline family, it’s especially important to us to bring extra focus, care and awareness to our cat and kitten population and giving them the best care possible.”
