One of the America’s most recognizable Asian-themed restaurants is rolling out its smaller format concept in Orlando in the coming months -- another sign of the pandemic’s enduring impact on retail real estate.
P.F. Chang’s To Go is expected to open in a 1,450-square-foot space in Hamlin near The French Café at 16412 New Independence Parkway, Michael Boyd, a sales and leasing associate with Hamlin developer Orlando-based Boyd Development Corp., told the Orlando Business Journal.
The concept is expected to open in July.
“It’s been one of things that was missing here,” Boyd said. “The residents who live in Horizon West and Hamlin have been asking for new-to-market and exciting concepts.”
It will be one of a handful of P.F. Chang’s To Go restaurants opening locally.
P.F. Chang’s To Go also plans to open in fall 2021 in a 1,871-square-foot space in Lake Nona’s Pixon apartment community at 7004 Tavistock Lakes Blvd., according to a press release.
