ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando’s Plaza Live theater is getting a facelift. And soon.
The popular entertainment venue in Orlando’s Milk District announced it will begin renovations on June 1.
The music and comedy hot spot said it will be closed to the public for an undetermined amount of time, but promised to keep the community updated on the progress of improvements.
The planned upgrades include:
- New sound system, lighting, and stage equipment
- Redesigned seating for better audience comfort and sightlines
- Updated, welcoming lobby with more functional space
The Plaza Live said the work will be partially funded by the Orange County Tourist Development Tax and will ensure a future of “high-quality entertainment experiences.”
Organizers added, “Our goal is to create an even more memorable experience for our guests, and these renovations will allow us to do just that. We can’t wait to unveil the newly renovated venue and welcome back our loyal patrons and new guests alike.”
