Police: One person injured after being hit by bus in downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — One person was injured after being run over by a bus in downtown Orlando, police said.

The accident happened along Orange Avenue near Princeton Street just before 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Northbound Orange Avenue was shut down while Police investigated the crash.

The person, who was not identified, was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Passengers on the bus at the time of the accident were transferred to another bus and continued on their route.
