‘My house is gone’: Street race ends when 2 cars crash into Orlando home

ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando woman was in the shower when a car involved in a street race crashed through the front of her home.

“I found me some clothes and climbed out the window,” Neshay Singleton said.

Police said two cars were racing, when they lost control and crashed into Singleton’s home on Ivey Lane.

“My car is gone, my house is gone, so everything i worked for since 2016 i’ve been staying here is gone,” she said.

Police said the driver and passenger in the car that crashed into Singleton’s home ran from the scene of the crash. One of them was transported to the hospital and the others have yet to be taken into custody.
