Rain and storms to continue through the weekend and early next week

ORLANDO, Fla. — We closed the work week with more rain and storms, and the active pattern continues into the weekend.

The scattered activity will again fade away this evening, with quiet conditions overnight. Morning lows will be in the mid 70s.

The tropical moisture remains in place Saturday, keeping rain and storm chances elevated. The best chance for activity will be in the PM hours, with temps in the low 90s.

Some slightly drier air arrives Sunday, reducing storm coverage some across the area. Highs to close out the weekend will be in the low 90s.

More rain and storms are likely to kick off next week. Scattered PM rain and storms will continue Monday, with highs in the low 90s.

Changes finally by the middle of next week as drier air pushes into the area. More scattered PM storms are expected Tuesday and Wednesday, with temps in the low 90s.

Another surge of moisture could arrive late next week, increasing rain chances once again.
