Rain and storms expected throughout the rest of the week

CENTRAL FLA. — It was another unsettled Wednesday across the region, and more rain and storms are likely late in the week.

The scattered activity will end this evening, but some coastal activity will be possible towards daybreak. Morning lows will be in the mid 70s.

The active weather pattern continues on Thursday. After a dry morning, fairly widespread rain and storms will develop in the PM hours, with highs in the low 90s.

More rain and storms are likely to close out the work week on Friday, with the best chance of activity again in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the low 90s.

The weekend will feature more scattered rain and storms. Both Saturday and Sunday will have scattered PM showers and storms, with temps in the low 90s.

Some drier air is becoming increasingly likely to arrive next week, reducing coverage of the PM rain and storms. Temps to start next week will hold in the low 90s.
