ORLANDO, Fla. — SeaWorld Orlando is bringing back its family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular with a new addition this year: characters and experiences inspired by “Hotel Transylvania.”
The daytime Halloween event runs on select dates from Aug. 29 through Nov. 1 and is included with park admission.
For the first time, characters from Sony Pictures Animation’s “Hotel Transylvania” will join the celebration. Guests can meet Drac, Mavis and other characters through themed experiences and entertainment.
A separately ticketed Hotel Transylvania Breakfast will transform SeaFire Inn into the “Monster Dread & Breakfast,” featuring an all-you-care-to-enjoy themed buffet, character meet-and-greets, photos and interactive entertainment.
Mavis and Johnny will also host a Hotel Transylvania Dance Party.
Spooktacular will feature a trick-or-treat trail with 12 candy stations, along with the return of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, Halloween mermaids, the Pumpkin Garden and Storytime, Spooky Bubble Trail and Scarecrow Halloween Dance Parade.
The Sesame Street Halloween Parade and Storytime with Big Bird will also return.
SeaWorld said guests of all ages can wear costumes, though guests 13 and older cannot wear costume masks or hoods.
The park will also offer its Teal Pumpkin Program for guests with food allergies, allowing them to collect tokens at trick-or-treat stations and exchange them for allergy-friendly treats.
Spooktacular runs through Nov. 1 at SeaWorld Orlando.
