ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Walt Disney World Imagineers are getting ready to enter the next phase of construction of their upcoming attraction TRON Lightcycle / Run.
Imagineers will soon start a process known as “push/pull,” in which sections of the seven-vehicle train are slowly moved through the entire ride track, Disney said in a blog post.
Once the track is ready, Disney said, trains will begin launch tests at incremental speeds before eventually working their up to full-speed launches.

And most unique of all, the phase will be visible to guests visiting Magic Kingdom. TRON Lightcycle / Run is located in Tomorrowland.
The ride is based on the 2010 film “TRON: Legacy.” An opening date for the attraction has not yet been announced.
